Where we operate in South Hampshire We arrange for the collection of your loved one in normal working hours from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays, within the South Hampshire area. See our network Google map below.
For collection from locations outside these areas, or when we are asked to collect outside of our normal weekday working hours or over Bank Holidays, we may be able to assist you but please note that additional fees would apply based on £2.00 per mile and £140 for out of hours collections. Simply ask us for details and we will confirm all costs before you decide to go ahead.
*We regret that our Simply Funerals service is not available in the Isle of Wight.
Is a Simply service right for me? A direct cremation gives you the choice and freedom to decide how you say goodbye to your loved one who has passed away, without having to arrange a traditional funeral. You can then arrange a private memorial service or celebration that you feel is most appropriate for you, your family and friends.

You can arrange everything via telephone, email and post; although we do have to send some official legal and contractual documents for you to sign and return to us. This means you can deal with arrangements at your convenience without taking additional time off work or making a special journey to a funeral home.
There are many practical issues to manage when someone dies. Our Bereavement Advice line supports and advises people on what they need to do after a death.

Once you have asked us to carry out a direct cremation all you need to do is speak with the local funeral directors and confirm that you have decided to use Simply Funerals. We’ll get in touch with them to arrange to collect your loved one and ensure that the transfer is as smooth as possible. If you wish, we can add any of their transfer / care charges they have agreed with you into our invoice.
